River Class
Welcome to River Class - our wonderful year 3 and 4 children!
River Class have been having fun building our rounders skills in our PE.
River Class have started exploring sound in their science work - we have been classifying sounds and exploring how different sounds are made
A huge thank you to FOSRS for funding our visiting poet, James Carter - the children are having a great time!

River Class are exploring the key features of playscripts and having lots of fun performing together!
River Class are looking fantastic in their Christmas jumpers and having fun making Christmas cards.
We have been learning all about solids, liquids and gases in our science work. We enjoyed investigating the impact of cold, warm and boiling water on chocolate!
We have had a wonderful trip to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. Thank you to our TAs, parent helpers, volunteers and mini-bus drivers!

Topic Overview
Literacy
In literacy we will be studying non chronological reports and poetry and in reading we are focusing on The Iron Man.
Maths
In maths we will be learning about place value and the four operations.
Curriculum
In Geography we are learning about Extreme Earth and in our art we will be exploring painting and photo art. Our PSHCE has a personal growth focus and in Science we will be studying states of matter. In our RE we are exploring the importance of light as a symbol of celebration and in computing we are exploring Scratch.
Our PE days are Tuesday (tag rugby) and Wednesday (Kennylands Gymnastics).
