Safeguarding

  • Safeguarding

Stoke Row Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility and we have a role to play in protecting children and young people from abuse and neglect. In order to do this, we follow the government guidelines for keeping children safe in education and the Oxfordshire County Council guidelines for recruitment and for safeguarding children.

The Designated Teachers for Safeguarding are:

  • Mrs Wheatcroft (Executive Headteacher)
  • Mrs Raaff (Senior Teacher)

The Safeguarding Governor is TBA

Many people do not act because they are worried about being wrong. You don’t have to be absolutely certain; if you’re concerned a child is being abused or their safety is at risk, speak to Mrs Wheatcroft or Mrs Raff without delay. You could be providing the missing piece of information that is needed to keep a child safe.

Child abuse. If you think it, report it.
