· Research the site of a Roman excavation (e.g. Pompeii or Corinium). What can you find out about what the site looked like in Roman times? Can you identify, describe and draw any significant finds? Can you describe what daily life there would have been like? For example, you could research the Roman sites found at Chedworth, Cirencester or Pompeii. · You might like to look at these websites to help you: https://coriniummuseum.org/ and https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/chedworth-roman-villa.

Diary Writing

· Flex your writing muscles by writing an informal diary reflecting your experiences, thoughts and feelings.

Extended writing

· Choose your favourite character from Robin Hood and the Stoke Row Hoodies and write a sequel or prequel to the story. A sequel is what happens after the end and the prequel is what happens before the story starts. Be as creative and imaginative as you can!

RE: Retell the Easter story in a manner of your choosing. This could include comic strip cartoons, a narrative from one person’s viewpoint, retelling the story in song or musical form, or creating a piece of artwork or sculpture to reflect the message of the story.

Remember to get plenty of exercise. Here are some ideas you can do at home, but try to get plenty of fresh air too.

Update 27th March 2020:
Dear River Class parents,
Thanks for all your hard work helping your children with their home learning. We will be reviewing our home learning provision for after the Easter break.  For the final week of this term please continue with any Twinkl activities you haven’t got to yet and with our River Class project work.
Make sure you find time to spend together as a family and enjoy the outdoors and getting some exercise.
Take care and kind regards,
Mrs Zabel and Mrs Hughes
