Forest School
With the support of The Well Trust in Stoke Row, we are very fortunate to have our very own Forest School in our local Cherry Orchard. We are delighted that the children in Reception and Key Stage 1 are able to regularly attend.
Our Forest School takes place in the Cherry Orchard which encompasses a woodland area as well as a wild meadow. We believe that our children at Stoke Row have the right to access the outdoors and the vibrant reality of the natural world. We aim for our children to explore their capacity to investigate, test and maintain curiosity about the world around them. Through attending Forest School, our children experience a healthy range of emotions, through all the challenges of social interaction, to build a resilience that will enable creative engagement with their peers and their potential.

Planning, adaption and observation allows for the holistic development of all those involved: fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners.
Our Forest School is primarily run by our qualified Forest School teacher Rosie Harlow. We also benefit from the support of our parents who regularly attend Forest School.
