On the last day before half term we had our Autumn Cross Country races.
Each class runs a longer distance than the class below so those pupils in years 1,3 and 5 were all running a longer distance for the first time.
Even Bubble took part with Tom Perkins coming home 1st just ahead of Max Ross and Freya Woodfin.
George Cosh led home the Raindrop race followed by Illaria Polissano and Anouk Fearn. Lola Graham was the first Y1 runner. George, Illaria, Oliver Gibbs, Evie Rose Mannall, Reuben Randall, Cathy O’Sullivan, Gabriel Taylor and Femanda Semonella all ran personal best (PB) times.
Stanley Clark won the River race ahead of Ophelia Shaw and Sebastian Bacon. There were PBs for Jamie Cosh, Ellie Lucas, Phoebe Blaker and Bertie Mannall.
The Ocean race was won by Rocco Shaw ahead of Casper Poulton and Taran Gill. Emmeline Rolf was first girl. James Blaker, Eve Chater and Taran Sandhu ran PBs.
The races are also a house competition and Barbar are the current leaders.
