Welcome to the Stoke Row School website.

I was delighted to join the Stoke Row ‘team’ in September 2010, and am impressed by the hard work and enthusiasm that abounds in this welcoming community.

I believe that small rural schools have the capacity to provide an environment in which children feel safe and happy while developing their individual abilities to the full. This is due to the fact that teachers and support staff know all the pupils extremely well and are thus able to plan for their individual needs, providing the optimum amount of support and challenge.

We work well with the local community and church. The school has good links with the other schools in the area and we are thus able to share resources, expertise and training. Our pupils are well-prepared for secondary school, no matter which one their parents choose, and take the enthusiasm for learning developed here with them.

OFSTED judged us a ‘good’ school in spring 2010 and this is due to the hard work and enthusiasm of children and staff, as well as the high level of support we enjoy from parents, governors and the wider community.
