Green and Yellow Classes give you... The Bossy Fairy!
Beautifully presented with exciting (and drab!) costumes, was the story of a truly Bossy Fairy, who took charge in sifting out the old and worn decorations to leave the brightest and shiniest ones with which to decorate the Christmas Tree.
The Bossy Fairy has chosen to keep the brightest Baubles, Fairy Lights and Chocolate Father Christmases!
The Snowflake and Fairy dance to show The Bossy Fairy that they are worthy of her admiration.
The bright Tinsel and the shabby Tinsel (sorry Lottie!) show us their differences!
Two children in their PJ's are then left to decorate the tree and decide to use all of the decorations, no matter what they look like. They also find a complete Nativity set with Mary, Joseph, Wise Men and all the extras, including little sheep. The children then sing to explain that Christmas is a time for us all to share, even The Bossy Fairy! Ah - magical!
Then onto the Red Class Perfomance of The Alternative CINDERELLA!
The Maestro himself, requests full audience participation with "Ooos" and "Aaaahs" in all the relevant places!
Cinderella tells her Father why she dislikes doing all the hard housework.
The Ugly Sisters, Roberta and Lyllee, discuss Cinderella doing all the housework by herself whilst fluttering the longest of eyelashes to the tittering audience!
Ugly Sister, Roberta, decides to squirt the audience who laughed at her! Oh, yes she did!
Buttons sings woefully of his love for Cinderella.
Then, The Gas Man comes to call...
After this, the Prince decides he would like to throw a Ball and shows his Courtiers just what sort of dancing he would like!
Then, this group of Stagers (Policeman, PE Teacher, Painter, Carpenter, Washerwoman and Ballerina) perform a rhythmic ducking and diving routine!
With perfect timing, The Stagers tell us in rhyme, about their daily tasks, from ...left, right, go back along the pavement... to, here's the brush, dip it in, whack it on the canvas... to, six, by four, nail it on the wall! Hilarious!
Well, at The Ball the comic confusion continues and after all the excitement, The Prince decides to marry the Fairy Godmother; the Courtiers take the Ugly Sisters off to Burger King and KFC, which eventually leaves Buttons and Cinderella to end the story on a traditionally, happy note!
"BRAVO!" - to the children and "well done" to all the staff for providing us with fantastic entertainment, costumes, scenery and memories! Happy Christmas, Everyone!
