Hello from Yellow Class
(07-08)
We are in Years 1 and 2 (aged 5 to 7) and are taught by Mrs Wendy Bowes, ably assisted by Pam Cooper and Nicole Hawkins.
In Yellow Class we work very hard developing our reading, writing and mathematical skills but we also learn about lots of other interesting things.
In History we have studied “The Great Fire of London” and read some of Samuel Pepys’ diary.
While in Geography we have read Katie Morag stories and found out about the Isle of Coll where the stories are set.
‘How can we move?’ is a question we have answered in Science.
As part of our own initiated learning we love using the big building blocks to build lots of different structures and we then use them in our creative play.
